Status: Sold

Painted tin pagoda shaped spice dispenser. Bins for nutmeg, pepper, allspice, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger. Six hand painted panels with scenes of cranes or herons, pheasants, children, and harvesters. The interior of the bins is painted black. On a cast iron swivel base that allows it to be turned. This is attached to a chip carved wooden stand. Dowels need to be fitted back into holes. The current design of red paint and gold flourishes appears to have been painted over an older design. A circular pattern is seen under the black paint. Unable to tell how old the newer paint and/or the panels are. Rust and flaking paint to the top of the pagoda. Missing finial. 26 inches wide x 32 inches tall with stand. With the stand it is 57 inches tall.
