Surveyors transit No. 25533 manufactured by the Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts company in the early 20th century. Patent 1674317. In wooden case with all original labels and quality condition tag dated 1971. Spindles are missing and holder is chipped. Strap on case is broken and exterior worn. Transit itself is in overall good condition with minor paint loss and wear.
