Slate body with some bloom to finish. Top decorated with frolicking cherubs and a dog. Four columns flank the glass fronted dial. Brass ring has been repainted gold. Dial marked J. B. Yabsley, 72 Ludgate Hill, London. Dial is flaking. Works are marked 4, no visible maker. Clock can be wound with key but does not currently run. Key is not original. 15 inches wide x 5 x 15 inches tall. Very heavy.
