Circa 1820 late Federal Period eight day mahogany veneered mantel clock made and sold by Barns, Bartholomew & Co. Bristol, Connecticut. White pine secondary wood. Original dial, mirror, reverse painting and faux painting on columns. Surface scratches with one detached but present carved paw foot. Not tested. Missing pendulum and key. Both weights present. Measures 17 inches width x 6 inches x 37 inches height.
